MDL ISIS Standard Edition
is a repackaging of ISIS
designed to enable MDL applications and allow the customer to build ISIS
databases. ISIS Standard Edition includes ISIS/Draw, ISIS/Base, ISIS for
Excel, ISIS/Host, ISIS/Host Oracle Gateway, Chime Pro/Chemscape run-time,
and Relational Chemistry Server run-time. ISIS Standard Edition does not
include any developer tools or rights to use any custom applications.
MDL ISIS Enterprise Edition
includes all the components of ISIS Standard Edition
plus developer tools and products: ISIS ADK and ADK Pro, ISIS/Host API,
ISIS Open Gateway, ISIS Open Gateway Toolkit, Relational Chemistry Server,
and Draw Enterprise Edition. Customers who license ISIS Enterprise Edition
are given license keys for both ISIS/Chemistry and ISIS/Developer
functionality to use as they need, spreading the value of developer
functionality across the entire installation. Additional Discovery
Framework components (Core Interface and New Client) can be added to the
ISIS Enterprise Edition license as they become available, or ISIS
Enterprise Edition Users can upgrade directly to Discovery Framework
Enterprise Edition when available.
MDL® ISIS/Host
ISIS/Host is the server foundation for the ISIS
 (Integrated
Scientific Information System) family of products. It supports the
registration, retrieval, display, and analysis of all types of scientific
information across desktops, departments, and continents. ISIS/Host
provides full 2D and 3D molecule, polymer, reaction, and relational
database searching; heterogeneous database integration; and access to
MDL’s commercial molecule and reaction databases.
